Description: We work through an organization called project:HOMES who screens applicants and selects projects specifically for us to do. They have an extensive list of over 500 clients waiting for volunteers to serve them. It is mostly housing repair and accessibility improvements for low income/elderly female clients. We hope this year to build and install 4 wheelchair ramps in addition to the housing repair. Participants will also plan and execute a dinner/dance for developmentally disabled adults that are part of our congregation and community. Registration includes a fun day on Wednesday with a trip to Williamsburg and Water Country. Work boots are required for all participants.
